At Saltwater Eddies we can and do fill international orders by arrangement, however shipping times and costs are often prohibitive. International shipments are also usually done by USPS unless pre-arranged otherwise. Also, with the exception of the Chaetomorpha Macro Algae, International orders must be over $100.00

Certain species may not be available at all times. If all items in your order are not available, your order will be placed on hold. We will contact you to see how you would like to proceed.

Shipping Policies & Rates
With our shipping rates, what you see is what you get… there are no extra Packing Charges, Box Charges, Heat/Cool Pack Fees, Preparation Fees, or Fuel Surcharges. Standard Shipping (Dry Goods)
In stock orders processed by 12 noon PST generally ship the same business day. In some cases, orders may ship the following business day, especially order placed during the weekend. In the event of a back order, we will contact you to via email and/or phone to inform you of the back order and the expected ship date for your order. We charge actual freight rates and do no charge an additional handling fee. We ship orders via the most economical carrier of choice. Typically, we use UPS or USPS for ground shipments and either BAX Global, Yellow Exact Express or UPS for expedited air shipments. We use UPS, US Mail or BAX Global for international orders unless specified by the customer. Items that are OVERSIZED dimensions (please email us at support@SaltwaterEddies.com or call 1 503-380-2023if you are unsure on whether a particular item is oversized) will generally incur additional shipping charges. If an order incurs additional shipping charges, we will notify you via phone and/or email prior to shipping

SHORTAGES/DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:
All shortages or errors must be reported to our office WITHIN 48 hours of receipt. Email us to notify us of any damaged products that you receive. Failure to adhere to this requirement may result in denial of credit. Please be sure that you have received all cartons you are signing for, and that none are damaged. A signature by you or your representatives signifies all merchandise was received in undamaged, saleable condition (aquariums and sumps free of any cracks, flaws, or damaged frames) and verifies the number of cartons you received is correct as stated on our invoice.

If your product is not made by one of the manufacturers mentioned above, the following policy applies:

  Closed packages: Before opening each product please check its packaging and label carefully to be sure you received the correct product and version. If the supplier's original packaging and seal is still intact, you may return the product to us within 30 days from purchase for an exchange, merchandise credit or refund (excluding shipping and handling charges), subject to a 15% restocking fee. Return shipping to us is at your own expense. You must include a copy of the original invoice with the RMA# inside your return package. Defective Returns: If your product is not functioning properly, please call our Technical Support Department at 1-503-380-2023as soon as possible (but not later than 30 days from purchase). In most instances, our highly skilled Tech Support representatives can assist you in diagnosing and resolving your product problems. However, in rare instances, a product is defective. In such case, we will replace the product with an even exchange of the same item, subject to in-stock availability and manufacturer warranty. Replacement items ship within two business days after the defective item is received in our warehouse and inspected by our Returns Department. Custom orders and products designated as "all sales final", "no returns" or similar language may not be returned.
      A valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by us within 30 days of your original invoice date must accompany all products returned to us. After 30 days from purchase we can no longer issue an RMA and will refer you to the manufacturer for warranty service. RMA's expire in 15 days after they are issued and cannot be extended or re-issued. All products returned for credit must be 100% complete in original packaging and in resalable condition, with all packaging, product, manuals, blank warranty card and other accessories and documentation included. A valid RMA number must be written clearly and conspicuously on the outside of the packaging. Incomplete or unauthorized returns will be refused.
  Please send all packages with valid RMA's to Saltwater Eddies, LLC 4500 Nicholson Rd. #J12, Vancouver, WA 98661. Include a copy of your receipt in the package.

Report a Damaged Package

  Unfortunately, damages to products can happen during transit and delivery. With any package delivery from UPS, FedEx, or the US Postal Service it is your responsibility to notify the delivery driver of any obvious damage to the package or merchandise. The package(s) must be inspected upon of receipt of delivery for any concealed damages. If any damages to the product(s) are discovered, Saltwater Eddies, LLC. must be notified within 48 hours of receipt of delivery. Please call 503-380-2023or email us to report a damaged package. In most cases, a replacement item will be sent out within 2 business days. The replacement item and shipping charges will be at no cost to you. The item will be re-shipped with the same freight method used on the original order that incurred the damage. We are terribly sorry if any damages that occur. We make every effort to ensure your package arrives in excellent condition, as the freight carrier for the damaged items does typically NOT reimburse us.
