Reef Octopus Hurricone Catagory1 Protein Skimmer The Octopus Hurricone Cat Series Protein Skimmer is a new line of high performance skimmers designed to be an ideal skimmer for today's saltwater hobbyist. The Octopus Hurricone Cat1 Protein Skimmer comes with key performance enhancing features like very high quality Askoll pumps, custom machined volute and pinwheel, removable bubble plate for easy cleaning, extended cone transition for dry foam production, long neck and a high quality build. All of these features designed specifically for the most demanding saltwater aquarium systems and fish tank set ups. Specifications, Footprint: 14.5"x14.5" Height: 24.25" 8" Body and 5" neck Features an Askoll model 1500 motor. High quality machine welded cast acrylic construction Custom machined volute and pin wheels that are hand made in the USA and designed to pull the maximum amount of air and maintain proper power factors that the motors were designed for. Air intake of 2000 lpm to 2300 lpm (on the Askoll 1500) *air numbers will vary depending on the model skimmer used. 3 year manufacturer warranty on Askoll motors. 1 year warranty on skimmer, custom volute and pin wheel construction.
