With the new Turboflotor Blue 500 Aqua Medic is adding another member to the “blue” series of protein skimmers. As the Turboflotor Blue 1000 and Turboflotor Blue 3000 the Turboflotor Blue 500 features the same design and is produced from high quality acrylic glass.
The Turboflotor Blue 500 is a high performance motor driven internal protein
skimmer for saltwater aquaria up to 65 gal. The patented conical foam cup
supports efficient foam production. It comes with two holding systems for
individual fixing, and is adjustable in height, making it suitable for many
different styles of aquaria. It is equipped with a new developed energy efficient
venturi pump with power consumption of only 8W, and is near silent running
with its ceramic bearings. The newly developed mesh wheel generates large
amounts of air for optimum bubble structure. The water height in the protein
skimmer is easily adjustable.
